Trans-Saharan Counterterrorism Partnership
The Trans-Saharan Counterterrorism Partnership (TSCTP) is a collaboration led by the United States to help African countries in North and West Africa combat terrorism and regional security threats. It provides training, resources, and intelligence sharing to strengthen local military and security forces. The goal is to prevent terrorist groups from gaining footholds across the Sahara, promote stability, and protect communities by building regional capacity to address security challenges independently.
