Traditionalist Catholicism
Traditionalist Catholicism is a movement within the Catholic Church that emphasizes preserving its historical teachings, liturgy, and practices, especially those prior to the reforms of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). Adherents often prefer the Latin Mass and traditional doctrines, valuing continuity with the Church’s past. While they remain in full communion with the Catholic Church, they may be critical of modern changes and seek to uphold what they see as authentic Catholic tradition. Their focus is on maintaining the sacredness, discipline, and theological richness of the Church's heritage.
