The Catholic "Quadrilateral" refers to four sources used to understand faith and morals: Tradition, Experience, Reason, and Scripture. Tradition involves the long-standing teachings and practices passed down through the Church. Experience includes personal insights and how faith influences our lives. Reason uses logical thinking to understand beliefs critically. Scripture is the Bible, the written Word of God. Together, these sources help believers deepen their faith, ensuring that understanding is balanced—rooted in history, personal life, reasoning, and Sacred Scripture—guiding moral and spiritual decisions.
