Trần Dynasty

The Trần Dynasty was a prominent Vietnamese ruling family that reigned from 1225 to 1400. Known for defending Vietnam against invasions, especially from the Mongol Empire, the Trần rulers strengthened the country’s military, economy, and culture. They promoted Buddhism, supported arts, and maintained stability during a time of frequent warfare. The dynasty is remembered for its effective governance and contributions to Vietnamese identity, lasting almost two centuries before being succeeded by other dynasties.
