Tower of the Oil

The Tower of the Oil, often referred to as an oil storage or processing tower, is a tall structure used in the petroleum industry. It typically functions as a distillation or separation column where crude oil is heated and separated into different components like gasoline, diesel, and other fuels based on boiling points. The height allows for the efficient separation of these fractions through a process called fractional distillation. Inside, hot crude vapor rises, and as it cools, different hydrocarbons condense at various levels, allowing for effective collection and further processing.
