Touts

Touts are individuals or organizations that buy tickets for popular events—like concerts or sports games—at regular prices and then resell them at higher prices, often closer to the event date or at the venue. They take advantage of high demand, often creating a secondary marketplace that can lead to inflated prices for fans wanting to attend. While some operate within legal boundaries, many touts do so through unofficial channels, raising concerns about fairness and ticket availability. Essentially, touts profit from the scarcity of desirable tickets by reselling them at a premium.
