
Tour Magne
Tour Magne is an ancient, well-preserved Roman tower located in the south of France, near Nîmes. Built around the 1st century AD, it served as a military observation post or signaling tower, helping to monitor the surrounding landscape for potential threats. Standing approximately 15 meters tall, the tower is made of stone and features a spiral staircase inside. Today, Tour Magne is part of the Nîmes landscape and offers visitors insight into Roman engineering and military strategy, as well as panoramic views of the region from its top.
