tonsil size

Tonsil size refers to the size of the tonsils, which are lymphatic tissue located at the back of the throat. During medical examinations, tonsils are graded from 1 to 4 based on how much they extend into the space of the throat. Grade 1 indicates small tonsils that are barely visible, while grade 4 means they are so large they nearly touch in the middle of the throat. Enlarged tonsils can cause problems like difficulty breathing or swallowing, especially during sleep, and may sometimes require medical evaluation or treatment.
