Tomar Dynasty

The Tomar Dynasty was an ancient Indian ruling family that established Delhi as their capital around the 9th to 13th centuries. They were Rajput rulers known for resisting invaders and fostering cultural development in the region. The Tomars played a key role in shaping early Delhi’s history, laying the groundwork for later dynasties. They are also associated with the construction of some of Delhi’s earliest forts and landmarks.
