TOK (Theory of Knowledge)
Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is a core component of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program that explores how we acquire and understand knowledge. It encourages students to reflect on the nature, sources, and limitations of knowledge across various subjects, such as science, history, and the arts. TOK prompts critical thinking about how we justify beliefs, recognize biases, and evaluate evidence. Its goal is to develop greater awareness of our ways of knowing and to foster thoughtful, evidence-based reasoning in making sense of the world around us.
