TOC analysis
TOC (Total Organic Carbon) analysis measures the amount of organic carbon present in a sample, such as water or soil. It indicates how much organic material is there, which can affect water quality, treatment processes, or environmental health. The analysis involves converting all the organic carbon into carbon dioxide (CO₂) through combustion or chemical oxidation, and then measuring that CO₂ to determine the quantity. This helps assess contamination levels, water purity, or the effectiveness of purification processes, providing essential information for environmental monitoring and treatment system management.
