Title II of the ADA

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires state and local government entities to provide equal access and opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This means government programs, services, and activities must be accessible to everyone, including those with mobility, vision, hearing, or other impairments. Governments must remove barriers, offer effective communication, and make reasonable accommodations when needed. The goal is to ensure people with disabilities can participate fully in civic life, access public services, and receive the same quality of services as those without disabilities.
