Tissue sections

Tissue sections are thin slices of biological tissue prepared for examination under a microscope. To study the detailed structure and organization of tissues—like skin, muscles, or organs—samples are carefully cut into very thin sections, often using special blades or machines. These slices are then stained with dyes to highlight different components, making it easier to observe cell types, arrangements, and any abnormalities. Tissue sections are essential in medical diagnosis, research, and pathology, helping scientists and doctors understand how tissues function normally and identify diseases.
