Tintenfisch

Tintenfisch, known as squid in English, is a marine mollusk characterized by a soft body, two long tentacles, and a beak-like mouth. Belonging to the cephalopod family, they are known for their intelligence and ability to change color for communication or camouflage. Squid have a mantle that houses their organs, and they use a siphon to propel themselves through the water. They are active predators, feeding mainly on fish and crustaceans. Widely found in oceans worldwide, squid are also important economically, both as seafood and in scientific research.
