Tingle
Tingle is a sensation characterized by a prickling or pins-and-needles feeling, often experienced in the limbs or extremities. It usually occurs when blood flow is temporarily restricted or nerves are compressed, leading to reduced oxygen delivery or nerve irritation. Once normal circulation or nerve function resumes, the sensation typically subsides. Tingles can happen naturally from positions that put pressure on nerves, or as a part of medical conditions affecting nerves or circulation. While often benign, persistent or frequent tingling may indicate underlying health issues needing medical evaluation.
