Timothy Dolan

Timothy Dolan is an American Catholic bishop and a prominent leader within the Church. He served as the Archbishop of New York, one of the largest and most influential dioceses in the United States, from 2009 to 2023. Prior to that, he was the Archbishop of Milwaukee. Dolan is known for his charismatic leadership, efforts to promote faith and social justice, and his active involvement in public issues. He has also served as the President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, helping guide the Church’s response to contemporary challenges across the country.
