Tiered Intervention Model

The Tiered Intervention Model is a structured approach used in education and special education to support students' diverse learning needs. It involves multiple levels of intervention, starting with high-quality instruction for all students (Tier 1). If a student struggles, additional targeted support is provided (Tier 2). If difficulties persist, more intensive, individualized strategies are used (Tier 3). This model ensures that students receive appropriate, timely help through a gradual, proactive process, aiming to improve their success while minimizing unnecessary interventions.
