Tideway

Tideway is a major infrastructure project in London constructing a new tunnel called the Thames Tideway Tunnel. Its purpose is to improve the city's sewage system by capturing and transporting wastewater that currently overflows into the River Thames during heavy rains. This tunnel, about 25 kilometers long, runs underground beneath the river and its surroundings. Once completed, it will reduce pollution, protect water quality, and support the environment and public health.
