Tiberius (Tiberius Claudius Nero) was a Roman emperor who ruled from 14 AD to 37 AD. He was the second emperor of Rome, succeeding Augustus, and known for his disciplined and sometimes cautious leadership. A capable military commander, Tiberius expanded Rome’s borders and strengthened its empire. His reign was marked by political tension and a retreat from public life later on.
