Tiangong space station

The Tiangong space station is China’s modular orbital laboratory launched into space, designed for scientific research, technology experiments, and international cooperation. It consists of interconnected modules that provide living space and work stations for astronauts, known as astronauts or taikonauts. Launched and assembled over several years, it orbits about 400 kilometers above Earth. The station enables China to conduct various experiments in microgravity, develop new space technologies, and demonstrate long-term human spaceflight capabilities. Tiangong is part of China’s broader vision to establish an independent space presence and contribute to global scientific advancements.
