Thracian civilization

The Thracian civilization thrived in southeastern Europe, primarily in what is now Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey, from around 1500 BCE to 300 CE. Known for skilled metalworking, warriors, and rich oral traditions, they left behind impressive tombs, intricate jewelry, and artifacts. The Thracians practiced diverse religions and were renowned for their fierce independence and horsemanship. Their culture was shaped by interactions with Greeks and Persians, influencing their art and rituals. Although less unified politically, they played a significant role in regional history and contributed to the cultural mosaic of ancient Europe.
