Third Worldism
Third Worldism is a political perspective that emphasizes the importance of developing countries—often called the "Third World"—as a collective force for global change. It critiques the dominance of wealthier, industrialized nations (the "First" and "Second Worlds") and advocates for solidarity and empowerment among poorer nations. The goal is to challenge global inequalities, promote self-determination, and develop alternative paths outside Western-centric models. Third Worldism often highlights issues like imperialism, economic dependency, and the need for redistribution of power and resources to achieve social justice on a global scale.
