Third Party

A third party refers to an individual or organization that is not directly involved in a primary agreement or transaction between two main parties. For example, in a contract between a buyer and a seller, a third party might be a payment processor or inspector who facilitates or oversees some aspect of the deal. They do not have a direct contractual relationship with the primary parties but can be affected by or have an interest in the outcome. Third parties are common in legal, financial, and business contexts, often providing services, oversight, or benefits outside the main agreement.
