Third Order Franciscans
Third Order Franciscans are laypeople and clergy who choose to follow the spiritual teachings of Saint Francis of Assisi while living outside monastic communities. They commit to living simply, practicing charity, and embracing humility and peace in their everyday lives. They often participate in prayer, community service, and promoting compassionate values aligned with Franciscan principles. Unlike monks or nuns, they do not live in monasteries but integrate their faith into daily routines, seeking to bring the Franciscan way of life to the broader community through their actions and commitments.
