Thickeners

Thickeners are large equipment used in industries like mining and wastewater treatment to separate solid particles from liquids. They work by allowing the solid particles, called sludge or slurry, to settle at the bottom over time, forming a denser layer that can be removed or processed further. The clear liquid above, known as clarified fluid, can often be reused or safely discharged. Thickeners improve efficiency by reducing waste volume, recovering valuable materials, and making disposal safer and easier. They are essential for managing liquids with suspended solids in various industrial processes.
