thermal acclimatization

Thermal acclimatization is the process by which the body gradually adjusts to changes in environmental temperatures over time. When exposed to hot or cold conditions consistently, our bodies adapt by modifying physiological functions—such as sweating efficiency in heat or increasing blood flow in cold—to maintain internal stability, known as homeostasis. This adaptation helps improve comfort and performance in varying climates. Essentially, it's the body's way of "getting used to" temperature changes, allowing us to function better and more comfortably across different environmental conditions without sudden stress or harm.
