Theories of Space Travel
Theories of space travel explore methods to reach and explore beyond Earth. Current ideas include chemical rockets, which use fuel to propel spacecraft; nuclear thermal propulsion, which could provide greater speed using nuclear reactions; and advanced concepts like ion drives that use electric fields for efficient long-distance travel. Some theories examine harnessing gravity assists from planets or developing warp drives, which involve bending space-time to bypass limitations of speed. While many concepts are experimental or theoretical, they aim to enable faster, more efficient journeys across the universe in the future.
