Theorem of Cooperation

The Theorem of Cooperation states that if individual parties in a system are motivated only by their own interests and act rationally, then any overall outcome they achieve through their actions will be as good as—or better than—what they could have achieved by working together. In other words, even without explicit collaboration, self-interested behavior can lead to efficient results that benefit the entire system. This concept highlights how individual decision-making under certain conditions can naturally produce desirable collective outcomes in markets or social interactions.
