Theophilus (Saint)
Saint Theophilus was an early Christian figure known for his role as a patron of the Church and his association with biblical scholarship. Traditionally identified as a Roman or Greek nobleman, he is believed to have supported Christian communities and possibly funded the writing of some biblical texts, notably the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles, which are addressed to him. His name means "Friend of God" in Greek. While details about his life are limited, he is honored as a respected supporter who helped preserve and promote early Christian teachings.
