Theistic evolutionists

Theistic evolutionists believe that God created the universe and life, but do so through the process of evolution. They see science and faith as compatible; understanding that natural selection and biological change are ways in which God's creative power is expressed over millions of years. This perspective accepts scientific evidence for evolution while maintaining belief in a divine creator guiding or initiating the process.
