Theistic determinism is the idea that God's nature, knowledge, and plans determine everything that happens in the universe. According to this view, God has foreordained all events, meaning nothing occurs without divine purpose or permission. This perspective combines religious belief in an all-powerful, omniscient God with the notion that human choices and natural events are part of a divine plan. Essentially, it suggests that God's sovereignty and knowledge shape and control the course of history and individual lives, leaving little room for independent human free will as traditionally understood.
