Theisms

Theisms are belief systems that affirm the existence of one or more deities or gods who influence or control the universe. These beliefs often include the idea that these gods are involved in human affairs, possess specific qualities like omnipotence or benevolence, and are worthy of worship. Major theistic religions include Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Theism contrasts with atheism (no gods) and agnosticism (uncertainty about gods' existence). Theisms shape moral values, rituals, and how followers understand their purpose and the nature of reality. They provide frameworks for understanding existence beyond empirical science.
