Thecodontosaurus

Thecodontosaurus was a small, early dinosaur that lived around 210 million years ago during the Late Triassic period. It was bipedal, meaning it walked on two legs, and had a long tail and sharp teeth, indicating it was likely an insectivore or omnivore. Its fossils, found mainly in what is now England, help scientists understand early dinosaur evolution and diversity. As one of the earliest known members of the group called Sauropodomorpha, Thecodontosaurus provides insight into how larger, long-necked dinosaurs eventually evolved from smaller ancestors.
