The Youth in Action Programme
The Youth in Action Programme was an initiative by the European Union aimed at promoting youth engagement, active citizenship, and intercultural exchange across Europe. Launched in 2007 and running until 2013, it provided funding and support for projects that enabled young people to participate in activities like volunteering, training, and mobility. The programme aimed to foster personal development, enhance skills, and strengthen cooperation among youth organizations. It created opportunities for young people to learn from one another, build important life skills, and promote social inclusion, ultimately empowering the youth to contribute positively to society.
