The Young People’s Chorus of New York City

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC) is a nonprofit organization that offers young singers, mainly ages 7 to 18, high-quality choral education. It provides performance opportunities, promotes musical excellence, and encourages personal development, teamwork, and community engagement. Founded in 1988, YPC strives to foster confidence, discipline, and social awareness through diverse, professional-grade singing experiences. The chorus performs locally, nationally, and internationally, often collaborating with professional ensembles and participating in cultural events, helping young people grow both artistically and personally within an inclusive, nurturing environment.
