The World Trade Center

The World Trade Center in New York City was a complex of buildings designed to promote international commerce and economic growth. The most iconic part was the Twin Towers, completed in 1973, which were among the tallest structures in the world. The complex housed offices for global businesses, serving as a hub for international trade, finance, and communication. In 2001, the original towers were destroyed in terrorist attacks, leading to their reconstruction and the creation of the new World Trade Center complex, including the One World Trade Center, a symbol of resilience and economic strength.
