The White Legion

The White Legion was a paramilitary group active during the Russian Civil War (1918-1922), composed mainly of White Army soldiers opposed to the Bolsheviks. They operated in regions like Crimea and southern Russia, aiming to restore the monarchy or establish a liberal government. Known for their disciplined structure and brutal tactics, they sought to combat the Red Army (Bolsheviks) and prevent Communist control. The White Legion's efforts ultimately failed, as the Bolsheviks consolidated power, leading to the fall of the White movement and the establishment of the Soviet Union.
