The West Coast Connection

The West Coast Connection was a U.S. drug trafficking network operating mainly in the 1980s, responsible for importing and distributing large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine. It involved organized groups on the West Coast, including well-known drug traffickers and gangs, who coordinated to smuggle drugs from Latin America into California and other states. The operation contributed to the rise of drug-related crime and addiction during that period. Law enforcement efforts eventually dismantled much of the network, highlighting the challenges of combating complex, interstate drug operations.
