The Weather Underground Organization

The Weather Underground Organization was a radical left-wing group active mainly in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It emerged from the anti-Vietnam War movement and aimed to oppose U.S. government policies through direct action, including bombings of government buildings and symbols of authority. Their goal was to incite revolution and challenge systemic injustices. While they considered their actions as protests, they were responsible for violent and illegal activities that harmed people and caused property damage. The group disbanded in the 1970s, evolving into different organizations and influencing discussions on political activism and domestic extremism.
