The Weather Project (Olafur Eliasson)

The Weather Project is a large installation by artist Olafur Eliasson, first displayed in 2003 at the Tate Modern in London. It recreates the feeling of a hazy, atmospheric sky using a giant, artificial sun and mist, filling the vast turbine hall with warm light and fog. The experience encourages viewers to reflect on natural phenomena, perception, and their relationship with the environment. By transforming the space into an immersive, almost otherworldly landscape, Eliasson invites contemplation of weather, nature, and human presence within urban settings.
