The Wave (concept)
The wave concept describes a repetitive movement or oscillation that transfers energy through a medium, like water, air, or even electrical signals, without the matter itself moving permanently. Waves can be mechanical, such as ocean waves, or electromagnetic, like light. They have properties like wavelength, frequency, and amplitude, which determine their behavior and impact. Essentially, waves carry energy from one point to another, enabling phenomena such as sound transmission, communication signals, and natural processes, while the source and the medium remain largely unchanged over time.
