The Unabomber (Theodore Kaczynski)

Theodore Kaczynzki, known as the Unabomber, was a former mathematician who became a domestic terrorist. Between 1978 and 1995, he conducted a nationwide bombing campaign in the United States, targeting individuals involved with modern technology and industrial society. His bombings killed three people and injured many others. Kaczynski believed technological progress was harmful to human freedom and the environment. He sent homemade bombs through the mail, and his manifesto criticizing industrial society was published in 1995, leading to his identification and arrest. Kaczynski was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
