The Truth Campaign

The Truth Campaign is an initiative aimed at reducing youth smoking by providing accurate information about tobacco's risks. It uses creative advertising and outreach to foster critical thinking about tobacco companies' marketing tactics and the health consequences of smoking. By engaging young people with facts and messages that challenge pro-smoking influences, the campaign seeks to prevent initiation and support healthier choices. Established in 2000, it is run by the American legacy Foundation (now the Truth Initiative), and has been recognized for its effectiveness in decreasing youth smoking rates.
