The Thule Society
The Thule Society was a German mystical and nationalist group founded in 1918 that promoted extreme right-wing ideas, including anti-Semitism and Aryan racial supremacy. Initially interested in shaping Germany’s cultural future, it became involved in political conspiracy, notably supporting the early Nazi Party. The society believed in Aryan racial purity and promoted nationalist myths, which influenced Nazi ideology and propaganda. While it was short-lived—dissolving by the mid-1920s—it played a significant role in the early development of Nazi beliefs and in fostering ideas that contributed to Germany’s later extremist movements.
