The Three Teachings
The Three Teachings refer to the core philosophical and religious traditions of China: Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Confucianism emphasizes moral virtues, social harmony, and proper relationships to create a just society. Taoism focuses on harmony with the natural world, simplicity, and understanding the flow of life through the concept of "Tao" (the Way). Buddhism, originating from India, teaches mindfulness, compassion, and the pursuit of enlightenment to transcend suffering. Together, these teachings have shaped Chinese culture, offering different perspectives on life, morality, and understanding the universe.
