The Third International
The Third International, also known as the Comintern, was an organization founded in 1919 by socialist and communist parties worldwide to promote global revolution and the overthrow of capitalist systems. It aimed to unite workers across nations under a communist ideology, encouraging coordinated efforts to establish a worldwide socialist state. The Comintern supported revolutionary activities, provided guidance, and fostered international solidarity among communist movements. Its goal was to accelerate the spread of communism and challenge capitalist and imperialist powers globally. The organization was dissolved in 1943 as geopolitical priorities shifted during World War II.
