The Templar Mission

The Templar Mission was to protect Christian pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem and other Holy Lands during the medieval period. Founded in the 12th century, the Knights Templar were a religious military order dedicated to defending Christianity’s interests. Beyond military efforts, they also engaged in banking activities, helping secure and transfer funds for nobles and pilgrims. Their mission combined spiritual devotion with financial and military responsibilities, aiming to ensure safety and stability for Christian pilgrims and territories during the Crusades.
