"The Taguba Report"
The Taguba Report is a detailed investigation conducted in 2004 into abuses by U.S. military personnel at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. It examined how prisoners were mistreated, including physical and psychological abuse, and identified failures in leadership and oversight. The report attributes much of the misconduct to the actions of several soldiers, but also highlights systemic issues within the military's policies and culture. Its findings led to military trials and calls for reforms to improve discipline, accountability, and human rights practices within the armed forces.
