The Star

A star, like our Sun, is a massive ball of hot, glowing gases—mainly hydrogen and helium—held together by gravity. Inside, nuclear fusion occurs, converting hydrogen into energy that produces light and heat. This energy radiates outward, making stars shine brightly in the sky. The size, color, and brightness of a star depend on its mass, age, and chemical composition. Stars are essential for creating elements necessary for life and influence the formation of planets and galaxies. They follow natural life cycles, eventually changing and dying, often to become cosmic phenomena like supernovae or black holes.
