The Skeptical Paradox
The Skeptical Paradox highlights a challenge in knowledge: to claim we truly know something, we must be certain our reasons are flawless. However, questioning those reasons often introduces doubt, making us uneasy claiming certainty at all. In other words, the more we look for absolute certainty to justify our beliefs, the more skeptical we become, which can prevent us from confidently knowing anything at all. It’s a paradox because skepticism undermines the very certainty needed to claim knowledge.
